Introduce
As of January 1, 2020, Rosalie Schouten and Maarten van der Woude have taken the restaurant over from us! They started with great enthusiasm and gave 'De Aanleg' a nice new look. They have developed a beautiful menu with beautiful, new dishes, including an extensive wine list! A bit different, but with the familiar quality and the familiar (living room) atmosphere ..!

It is of course also possible for you as a guest to combine your stay with dinner. Rosalie and Maarten receive you hospitably. They would like to introduce themselves to you!

"It has always been our dream to open our own restaurant, and the opportunity came our way sooner than expected. We eagerly grabbed this chance with both hands and have turned it into something wonderful! We offer a French kitchen with influences from Italian cuisine, a superb wine list, charming decor, and a cozy vibe.

Monday and Tuesday: Closed
Open Mondays during holidays and summer.

It was our first time on Texel and we stayed in one of the family houses. It was perfect! There was plenty of room for the whole family and we were near the beach and the little town Cocksdorp with nice shops and cafes. The Aanleg restaurant was great too for lunch or dinner.

The apartment we stayed in was in a great location and the rooms were lovely and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and the owners were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.
